Global Participants Focused on Enterprise Risk Management
This unique and intensive program, led by the faculty of one of the world's top business schools, provides candidates with an exceptional educational experience. In addition to its focus on the known and quantifiable risks of credit, market, and operational, the program focuses on the unknowable and difficult to measure risks, including business, strategic, and reputation. Complementing Wharton faculty are guest faculty and senior level business practitioners, considered by their peers to be industry thought leaders.
Business problems are multifaceted, interrelated, and increasingly global. To be successful, risk executives must cultivate understanding across all risks and businesses. This program is built around the concept that highly motivated individuals working together respond better to challenges.
The RMA-Wharton Advanced Risk Management Program has been designed by senior members of Wharton's prestigious faculty, the Wharton Financial Institutions Center, and experienced risk practitioners chosen by RMA. The program features two eight-day sessions of classroom time bridged by reading and participation in a virtual classroom. The schedule allows for comprehensive coverage while minimizing time away from work and home.
The program is highly interactive and addresses real-world challenges, reflective of today's economic issues, enabling participants to return to the office with tangible actions and results. The first session will take place from January 20 to January 27, 2013, and will continue from March 10 to March 17, 2013. Class size will be limited to ensure a quality learning experience. Both sessions will be presented at the Aresty Institute for Executive Education, the University of Pennsylvania's state-of-the-art executive education facility in Philadelphia.
The need for sound risk management has never been more essential than in today's financial climate. Ensure that your executives possess the leadership necessary to effectively manage your institution's potential for risk.
